Fit

In this country, what you can do
Is limited by clothing. The opportunities
Of a man in red pants are greater
Than the width and breadth of
The future of anyone saddled
With blue pants. A yellow sash
Allows for luck. White shirts
Denote a propensity for finance.
Black leather belts or purses
Lengthen loves. Fedoras
Signify musical talent, ball caps
Cover dental hygienists. A man
Has his dog in a purple sweater,
No doubt trying to game the system.
One street over, the police in their
Tan one-piece jumpsuits, are arresting
The naked. We have a right
To know what those going naked
Will one day be good at.
Civil disobedience alone is not enough.
